On Friday, November 22, we’re welcoming VIL – the brainchild of Nuno Costa, the mastermind behind Sinner and Warface in Room 1. This Portuguese producer began his musical journey in 2008 with a focus on dubstep, drum'n'bass, and UK garage. But it wasn't until the launch of his project VIL in 2013 that he truly found his calling in the world of techno.
In 2018, alongside Portuguese artists Temudo and menosdois, VIL founded Hayes – a collective dedicated to showcasing the distinct output of its artists through vinyl and digital releases. Since then, Hayes has grown to be one of the most promising labels in the scene, with several vinyl releases and support from some of the biggest names in the industry.
With a refined taste and a knack for crafting unforgettable sets, VIL has quickly made a name for himself as one of the best in the game. From intimate clubs like Lux Frágil and Gare to major festivals across the country, he's rocked them all with his unique blend of energetic and innovative beats.
Supersanity is a musician and composer based in Bucharest. He’s been releasing music under various aliases for over 20 years, most recently under forward thinking labels like R&S Records (Aphex Twin, Nils Frahm, Derrick May, Juan Atkins, Kevin Saunderson; Kenny Larkin, Joey Beltram, The Future Sound of London, James Blake, Tale of Us, Richie Hawtin) and its ambient division Apollo Records (The Orb, Sun Electric, Biosphere, Cabaret Voiltaire), widely considered responsible for bringing techno to Europe. His sound combines hypnotic rhythms with rich, naturally evolving sounds that invite the listener into a parallel world.
