Riddim Bandits Sound System returns to Control, this time taking full Control of Room 1 with a line-up that features the new generation of sound system builders and producers from the UK, along with local support from Kaze and Bass Healing Hi-Fi two of the crews strongly linked to the Riddim Bandits.
From dub to bass music, this event chants about unity, love and peace between all nations.
Founded by Kai Dub and Dubtronics, Concrete Lion is a sound system based at the confluence of Birmingham and Bristol. While their foundation lies back in 2007, Kai and Dubtronics are part of the new generation of sound system builders and producers.
Kai started in a sound system called Maasai Warrior alongside the late Paul Maasai, and his productions have reached the world's four corners! Together, they have participated in numerous sessions on several continents.
Dubtronics, the nephew of King Earthquake, has always been fascinated by sound systems, and his ambition has always been to build his own sound system! He spent many years under his uncle's wing, learning all aspects of PA and in 2019, he and Kai Dub decided to join forces, embarking on a new journey! This trip was going to be called "CONCRETE LION".
