Not My Cup of Tea has some pure high notes of alternative rock scene from Piatra Neamț, heart notes of progressive wanna-be eerie dream-pop made in Berceni, Bucharest aaaand some shoegazey bedroom base notes that can follow you long enough and make you wanna hum.
In the beginning, around 2019, there was no thought on having a band or creating an album. Everything started with a jamm between our guitarist Andrei and our first bass player. That is how a first idea of a song started to get shape and it ended up as our second song on the album. One year later, the voice appeared in this landscape, when Delia joined the project and all sketches took a turn and found a much more clear direction.
They recorded in a small bedroom, with a cat jumping around and the metro running under the building. You can call it a lo-fi experiment album questioning the meaning that the idea of the end can have, no matter if we talk about a romance story, society movement or life experience.
