SWORDS – Spoken Word Sessions returns with a new episode, bringing Mina Decu, Dana Voicu, and Ana Zett on stage, in a performance moderated by Cosmin Perța.
The performances will be complemented by an audio-visual set by Iulian Morar.
After the show, the night continues with After SWORDs w/ Iulian Morar.
About the performers:
Mina Decu is a poet with a past life that zigzags through philosophy teaching, bookselling, editing, marketing, and even flipping French crêpes. She has published two books: the recent “Tagliatelle allegro” (Cartier) and “desprindere” (Charmides), the latter receiving six literary award nominations and winning four. She has translated around seven books, including one by her favorite author, Roberto Bolaño. These days, she moves somewhere between simplicity and relevance, while trying to make peace with both time and the color pink.
Dana Voicu is an actress, lecturer at UNATC, and occasional writer. She debuted in 2021 with “Tot ce nu se poate spune” (Casa de Pariuri Literare). Her short fiction has appeared in multiple literary platforms, and she has published academic and specialized articles in theatre journals. In 2025, she released the monodrama “8 Martie” in the collective volume “Cinci piese premiate” (Tritonic).
Ana Zett (b. 2003) has performed in Cluj, Bucharest, Timișoara, and Eforie Sud. Curious by nature, she has appeared at events like Discuția Secretă, Transylvania International Spoken Word Festival, and Poetic Hub. Her work has been published in Revista Familia, Echinox, and others. Based in Cluj, she is a clinical psychologist and psychotherapist in training. You might find her at the cinema, swimming, in her practice, or in two recent anthologies: Antologeek 2 and Corpul posibil (2025).
Cosmin Perța, poet, novelist, essayist, and cultural manager, is a key voice in contemporary literature. He has published six poetry volumes, created multimedia poetic installations, and performed at festivals across four continents.
Iulian Morar (IM pulse, Guidance) is a curator and cultural event organizer, co-founder of SWORDS and founder of Liveland. He also created the Midweek Tapes series at Control and frequently works at the intersection of sound and spoken word.
SWORDS brings together poets, performers, actors, and writers in a series of spoken word shows enhanced by music and multimedia projections. Conceived and curated by Cosmin Perța and Iulian Morar, the project explores artistic expression at the intersection of literature and performance.
