So this is happening again - IAMX is back in Control on Friday, March 20, 2026.
For those new to this, you must know that Chris Corner’s journey becoming IAMX has been theatrical, transcendent, and deeply personal. From his early days as a small-town kid to his breakout with trip-hop icons Sneaker Pimps, and ultimately as the founder of IAMX, Corner has disrupted genre and bent gender through raw and unconventional art.
Fusing electronic experimentation with punk energy and intimate lyricism, IAMX’s music, visuals, performances, and persona are both iconic and unflinchingly vulnerable.
Over two decades, Corner has released eleven IAMX studio albums, two live albums, and multiple reworks and remixes. His work explores themes of identity, sexuality, mental health, and existential longing. His latest album, Fault Lines2 (August 2024), debuted at #1 on the Deutsche Alternative Charts, holding the spot for six consecutive weeks.
True to the X in his name - signifying the unknown - Corner’s art and identity remain in constant evolution.

Through experiences with his own depression, insomnia, and autism, Corner has emerged not just as an uncompromising artist, but also as a fierce advocate in the fight to dismantle the stigma of mental illness and neurodiversity. The HEADNOISE project was founded by Corner along with IAMX collaborator Janine Gezang (performer and certified ADHD coach) to create spaces where open and authentic dialogue about mental health is normalized. Topics range from neurodiversities, like ADHD and autism to sexuality, creative identity, philosophy, artistic survival in the music industry, grief and loss, interspersed with numerous interviews with mental health professionals.
Joining IAMX as the supporting artist is aux animaux, a hauntwave artist based in Stockholm. Her dark sound draws from the influence of 80s goth, horror films, and the occult. She’ll be performing on bass and theremin - which she considers to be her source of sorcery, being the only instrument that is played without actually touching.
Aux Animaux released her first songs in 2017. She has been touring both in Sweden and rest of Europe, opening for artist, such as She Past Away, Hante., Then Comes Silence among others. Her debut EP ”Black Holes” had more politically loaded songs that were about animal rights, feminism, criticising the society, whereas the sophomore EP ”Stockholm Synthrome” combines this approach with a more personal one, among others narrating her decade long struggle with misophonia.
